Highlights of the Tamar Project include:
After the initiation of the Tamar Project, the Mari-B/Yam Tethys Platforms were modified, enabling gas to be injection into the Mari-B/Yam Tethys reservoir. The ability to store gas within the Mari-B/Yam Tethys reservoir means that the gas can be used when needed depending upon market demand.

Diving services were required at the Tamar and Mari-B Platform areas to help link the Tamar platform export pipeline to the existing Mari-B export pipeline. 80 saturation divers assisted in the installation of a brand new gas riser on the Mari-B platform, 30 pools, a tie-in assembly and a valve skid.
Subsea Trees (commonly referred to as Christmas Trees) cap the well, provide an off/on safety device and control gas production rates.
